Personal details
Angelina Barthelmeß studied Chemistry at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU). Upon graduating with a Master's degree in December 2020, she started her Ph.D. thesis in March 2021 at the Helmholtz-Institute Erlangen-Nuremberg (HI ERN) in the research group of Prof. Dr. Peter Wasserscheid. Starting July 2021, she is now a Ph.D. student in the group 'Material synthesis and scale-up' in the department 'Catalyst materials and process development' at the Institute of Catalysis Research and Technology (IKFT). Her focus is on carbon nitride-based materials for the thermocatalytic conversion of CO2.
